The Northern Meeting Piping Competition is a world class event held annually in the stunning setting of Eden Court Theatre.
Held over two days, the competition attracts over 130 senior and junior competitors from as far afield as Canada, America, New Zealand, Australia and Europe. It is classed as being the finest solo piping contest in the world.
The Northern Meeting Piping Competition is where you have the world’s most accomplished pipers in the one place at the same time.
The competitors compete for prizes in Piobaireachd, in March Strathspey and Reel, and in Hornpipe and Jig events.
Pipe music enthusiasts and tourists
The event attracts an audience of pipe music enthusiasts and tourists who wish to experience the best Scotland has to offer in this musical genre.
New to this year’s historic event is the creation of a mini Scottish market where traders selling only the finest Scottish products will be invited to “set up shop” at Eden Court. The aim of the market is to attract more people to the event.
Sponsorship opportunities offer invitations to the civic reception held in The Town House, Inverness to launch the event, hospitality, best seating within the auditoriums, VIP parking and the opportunity to advertise your business to a large audience.
