The Junior competitions will be held in Eden Court Theatre, Inverness on Friday 3rd September 2010. JUNIOR COMPETITIONS (Confined to competitors resident in the former counties of Aberdeen, Angus, Kincardine, Perth, Caithness, Sutherland, Inverness, Ross and Cromarty, Nairn, Moray and soldiers serving in either the Regular Army or Territorial and Army Volunteer Reserve.) J. K. AND L. COMPETITIONS SPONSORED BY THE BRITISH ARMY J. MARCH – Under 15 years on 3rd September 2010. Competitors submit ONE March of their own choice. K. MARCH, STRATHSPEY AND REEL Under 18 years on 3rd September 2010 Competitors submit ONE March, Strathspey and Reel of their own choice. L. THE HIGHLANDERS JUNIOR PIOBAIREACHD COMPETITION Competitors under 18 years on 3rd September 2010 SPONSORED BY THE QUEEN’S OWN HIGHLANDERS TRUSTEES. Competitors submit FOUR tunes of their own choice, ONE of which they will be required to play. Competitors under 15 may enter competition K but no competitor may enter both J & K competitions. The entry fee should be made out to NORTHERN MEETING PIPING TRUST and sent to the piping secretary at the address below.
